COLLEGE LIFE: A NEW PHASE OF LIFE BEGINS.............

A LONG TIME..........I know it had been a long time since I wrote my last post.....

but,,,,,,,,

I had no choice........
something screwed up my life and now I feel I have successfully overcome it.

COLLEGE LIFE HAS STARTED!!!!!!.....can`t believe this has happened with me. After waiting too much and doing intense workout with one of the world`s thickest books like M.L. Khanna(EVEN THOUGH THAT WAS ONLY USED TO SCARE RELATIVES AND COUSINS) something excited started happening in my life.

I would directly say it that I was more than despo for living this college life and finally I feel lucky that I got admission in THAPAR UNIVERSITY, PATIALA. This is an entire new journey, new friends, new crush, new aims, new desires, but in the end what I know is that this is the time which I would not just let to pass away but I will live each and every moment, each day and every occasion of this phase of my life.

Here at THAPAR, we have something called "FROSH WEEK",,,,,like an event for an entire week in which students from 2nd and 3rd year form a society and organize small events for the 1st year students. This is till now, the best society I have been a part of as it had made pleasant environment for the 1st year students, who have arrived here from all across the country ,to feel comfortable and know each other. There is no sign of ragging, not even forceful interview and the frosh week seniors are even ready to fight other seniors if anyone would try to indulge in ragging. Regarding this I have a great experience to share. One day, regular classes were going on and at sharp 11:16 A.M. in the morning, a whatsapp message landed up in one of the senior frosh week team`s member that someone is trying to rag some first year students outside library. Then, at sharp 11:24 A.M. 49 seniors from the Frosh Week gathered there just to rescue those first year people but unfortunately, that news turned to be a fake one and no one was found there. These are seniors, who really deserve a good appreciation for such good arrangements.

Frosh week has been a good period with many events like LAN gaming from evening to midnight in every hostel block, movie sessions, guest lectures on entrepreneurship, leading a good life, sports tournaments, treasure hunt, city tour, and many others too.

Being in a college gives you a lot of freedom, some take it in a different way but some take it in a way being motivated to do something really big. All this depends on the person and also varies according to one`s situation and his view of life. Many of us would think that "Shit man I screwed up my life by not ending into an IIT", to those I would say that don`t take tension my friends, some day people sitting in IIT would end up saying that "Shit man I screwed my life by not ending into MIT". I mean that is what life is all about we always want things to be better even though they are still good. Many people want to be into IIT just because they think that IITians are considered to be a high class society of officials and they are intelligent enough, with good skills and also they are the people with great opportunities in hand. Then I want to question just a simple thing, what if you get same benefits after you graduate from any other college or university in the world? Are you an IITian not being a one literally?

The thing is you don`t need an IIT tag what you need is an equal exposure to the world so that your views, i.e, how you see this world, changes. Great entrepreneur don`t require some tag,,,,,what they become is out of their capability. Also if you seek for a job, an IITian would be preferred over you only till that person is reading both of your`s CVs, the next step when you will have a conversation with him you can prove yourself as deserving you are because the companies don`t matter how well you have studied inside a four cornered room, what matters to them is how well you have grown up in the world spending a considerable time in that four cornered room. Ultimately, you will be as precious in the economic world, as profitable you will seem to be.

So, All the Best to all my mates who entered into Undergraduate programs all across the country.

Leave the past aside, just focus on the present and try to dwell your future as you would like to.
